SATEC announces today that Gareth Kentish joins the management team at alvatross (by SATEC). CEO, Luis Rodríguez-Ovejero Gómez, stated, “We’re delighted to welcome Gareth to the team. He brings over 25 years of both technical and commercial industry experience. We met almost by chance, but it seems that it could be one of the most fortuitous meetings in our company’s history”.
“When preparing for TM Forum’s Digital Transformation World Series, I came across alvatross by SATEC. Of course, SATEC is a well-known pedigree integrator but I hadn’t heard of alvatross. What really struck me was how in-tune the alvatross’ solution is in relation to meeting the industry’s digital transformation aspirations”, Gareth stated.
Gareth joins the company having held senior management positions at BT, Cable & Wireless, Hansen Technologies and recently with TM Forum. Over the years, he has led both complex IT projects and sales initiatives across various vertical markets.
His early career started by being a London Bobby, but fell in love with technology after studying computer science in Perth, Western Australia. From that point onwards, Gareth maintained his interest in software development and telecommunications.
Gareth now lives in France. It’s become his home, mainly due to his love for cycling and of course, his natural French speaking wife. “France has space, wine and mountains. What more could one want?”, Gareth suggested.
“We look forward to a long and exciting business partnership, and we are all delighted to have Gareth as part of our team”, Luis confirmed.
